Don't trust them. These guys do not know what they're doing. Completely unorganized, shady billing practices, rude staff and gross locker rooms. Beware!
Goldilocks It's cheap and conveniently located. But it's overcrowded at lunch time. The music is awful that is piped through the place. Sometimes the treadmills work, sometimes not. The TV monitors sometimes work, sometimes not. Lastly, the showers are not maintained well. Some days clean, some days not. A shower head may be malfunctioning, or the hot and cold temps are either too hot or too cold, but never just right.
Burned Bad by I called Seattle and Don Pak there was rude and threatened me to never call there again after I inquired as to why they continued to charge my credit card for 4 months after I quit and they accepted it 'no problem'.
Epicenter Management is Dishonest Be very careful if you sign up with Epicenter. They will force you to go in person to cancel your membership - you cannot do it over the phone or email. Merle Gregg the owner stated this is "policy" but really its just a way to delay your cancellation and cheat you out of a month's membership. No integrity - and judging by the other reviews I'm not the only one this has happened to.
their power is having your credit card I can't believe anyone would join. Their story is old and familiar. They lie and steal.
Was a 5 star until.... the facility decided to distribute wet towels. a complaint to the president Merle Gregg (which the club policy clearly states to do... no complaining to the staff directly, only by email) resulted with Mr. Gregg not addressing the issue of health/safety/hygene, nor with me getting what I paid for (a clean, dry, sanitary towel 100% of the time). WAS the best gym, now it's one of the worst! Management is unprofessional and childish. If you present a problem, they will start pointing fingers and blame the problem on you. It did not use to be like this until Ivy Thao and other children were brought on board.
Theif in the locker room I was ripped off . . . and beleive I was not the first. However, the gym is great place to workout (trainers are very good) and the facility has lots to offer.
Poor ownership/management, Cowardly closure, does not value it's members If the owners cowardly behavior to choose to keep members in the dark about a planned closure in Bellevue wasn't enough, they also continued to have their employees (who were also in the dark) take in new members (along with their money) up until the last day open, knowing that these members would never get to use the Bellevue facility.
