They had formed a deal with my parents who had to drive over 3 hours to look at a 2020 Ford Escape on Saturday. They formed a deal and shook hands on it that day. Bought a car here for under KBB value. Dealership was responsive and fair. Overall I would come back. Only caveat is be prepared to spend an extra $1k -3k on dealership protection plans that come "standard with every vehicle" so add 1-3k on whatever the listed price of the car is to get the actual price you pay (before taxes, licensing, etc) Still a great deal and we are happy with our purchase and would come back, but seems like they discount cars and then make up the discount through protection plans, so just be aware.
RecommendedNothing against any one , I have had my Clutch Sys replaced twice already Within 3 years, this time I was told it’s a malfunction that Focus has with the Dual clutch system, the car is still shaking a bit , now when in reverse so Trading it is a consideration now , I would hate having to trade in , it’s so Great in Gas mileage.
Epic Ford in itself is not to blame for the terrible experience I had with Ford. My car went in for a recall on September 21. After 6 weeks and a repair that I am not confident was done safely, Ford offered me zero for but back. The safety of my family was of no interest to Ford. Had it not been for their safety recall, I would have continued to like my car, but they used an inexperienced vendor to make the very substantial repair. I don't trust the service department. I only go there because I've already paid for the maintenance package and as soon as that runs out, I won't be back. I've been told my car has an oil seep in which I asked "is that normal for a car that's only two years old?". I was told yes but the seep magically disappeared the next time I came in. Another time I came in for an oil change and mileage check in. The next time I came in they did the mileage check in again. Great experience. The service tech was focused on putting my wife and I at ease on a rather extensive issue. He provided multiple options to fix the issue and provided sound advice on how to proceed. His exact words exactly, “I work for you.” At the end of the day he ended up saving us $230 on a $3k fix.
