We offer individual (one on one) therapy, as well as therapy for couples and families. After meeting with one of the directors, I could not get my number one question answered: What insurance plans are accepted and how much is the out of pocket cost? Neither director (Blake or Adelina) could tell me what insurance plans they accept and referred me to "their insurance guy." He asked me to lie about my zip code in order to qualify for a plan that they MIGHT accept, but he wasn't sure either. The out of pocket cost came out to about $10,000 a month (not an option). I am a licensed clinical psychologist who recently sent a child to Engage. I wholeheartedly DO NOT recommend Engage. Consider UCLA’s ABC program, which is very professional with very well-trained clinicians. 1. The program is not very transparent about this like they are supposed to be- the “primary therapists” are not licensed. Your child will be in a therapeutic setting with someone just out of graduate school who is still at an intern level and should not be referred to as a therapist.
