I'm not sure what has happened here. When I go to make my appointment, the front desk girl told me, "You were being seen by Dr. Harrison but since he is no longer here, we can't see you." ??? She goes on to say, "We don't accept any Medicaid patients." I'm wondering, were they treating me like a new patient now or do they not accept any Medicaid patients at all. First off, getting ahold of this practice is hard as is and making an appointment is next to impossible. I specifically scheduled an appointment in the morning so I could get a blood draw to check my testosterone. They forgot to send the paperwork so I missed that window for the draw. Cool. I get back into the room and Dr. Lopez comes in. No history questions. Seemed to not believe my testosterone was as low as it was. Don’t expect to get booked. I was referred here three months ago. I called a few times asking if they received my referral and they said they couldn’t tell me because it takes 2 weeks for the doctor to even go through the referrals. I kept calling, even faxed the referral myself and had my office send the referral multiple times, and same thing. Eventually I just gave up. Update: They called back 4 months later. I declined service.

The ladies that answer the phone are either very ignorant to what they need to do or either extremely rude. Heather is the exception. She’s very helpful. They don’t know how to check the status of things and cause a delay in care, plus you’re on hold for longer than anyone should.
