Dr. Al Kassab misdiagnosed me and prescribed me multi thousand dollar medication that made me more sick. They do not care about your health. The office staff is incredibly rude. I have never experienced a doctor's office with such little care for their patients.

I was so disappointed when I left after my first visit-I made the appointment with Dr. Lawrence but never saw her-I saw 2 PA's who were very nice and I believe they knew their stuff but I was expecting to see the Dr. on my very 1st visit-I should have received a call beforehand so I could make the decision to be seen or not. Healthcare is not what it used to be. AND since Beaumont has changed to Corewell you have to look in 2 places for your results-which caused more confusion.

Made an appointment, as a new patient, to see a doctor, which took 2 months. I was informed that I would see a PA on the first visit and not the doctor. I asked for an appointment, which I would see the doctor on the first visit, to see if we were a fit to work together. My appointment was changed twice, so were the doctors. I showed up at my appointment, was seen by an MA, and then examined by the PA. Dr Assad is very thorough and a good listener. She is up to date with the latest treatments and alternatives. She helped rule out thyroid issues, our original reason for seeing her, but noted that there were other alternatives for Osteopenia and helped us get the treatment approved even though that was unrelated to our visit.

I have not been getting proper care at this place since I became a patient. Several times I've had to ask to get the right prescription filled for test strips which I can only assume is because they want to push using the dexcom more than they want to actually take care of me. Must be a nice spiff from them. I told my doctor the dexcom gives me physical pain and discomfort when using it, and the only solution I was offered was to "try keep using it".
