Made an appointment, as a new patient, to see a doctor, which took 2 months. I was informed that I would see a PA on the first visit and not the doctor. I asked for an appointment, which I would see the doctor on the first visit, to see if we were a fit to work together. My appointment was changed twice, so were the doctors. I showed up at my appointment, was seen by an MA, and then examined by the PA. Dr Assad is very thorough and a good listener. She is up to date with the latest treatments and alternatives. She helped rule out thyroid issues, our original reason for seeing her, but noted that there were other alternatives for Osteopenia and helped us get the treatment approved even though that was unrelated to our visit.

I have not been getting proper care at this place since I became a patient. Several times I've had to ask to get the right prescription filled for test strips which I can only assume is because they want to push using the dexcom more than they want to actually take care of me. Must be a nice spiff from them. I told my doctor the dexcom gives me physical pain and discomfort when using it, and the only solution I was offered was to "try keep using it". I've never felt more disrespected and disregarded by a medical professional in my entire life. I was referred to Dr Dlewati with a short list of concerns, and I was constantly cut off by him and told to "cut the carbs" because I gained a little bit of weight in between visits. I informed him of the reason for weight gain (that was provided to me by multiple other medical professionals) and he disregarded that as well. Dr Lawrence is amazing but the staff is awful. They are rude and clearly over schedule. You can count on them running an hour + behind and if you need to reschedule and appointment it is a minimum of moving it 6 months out.
