My Dad spent two weeks here before we removed him! He had a major surgery and needed help recovering. I went to see him daily and not once got to speak to a Dr. about him, they lost all his clothes and sent him home in paper pants! Had we known ALL his pants were lost we would have brought him some to wear home. Each day we would ask the nurse to update us and she would have NO idea what was going on with my dad.
RecommendedExcellent Rehab Hospital. Lots of personal attention to Patients. Three hours therapy per day and daily physician oversight. Will definitely recommend.
Starts with personal going above and beyond. So blessed for my aunt to be there. From the nurses to OT,PT, and speech. Not only do they help the patients but they give moral support to the family. I thank God for each and everyone of them. Leslie wilson
My stay at this rehab hospital was one of the best experiences I have had in a hospital. The staff was helpful and didn't make me feel as though I was just a bed to them. The Nurses were polite and professional and all the techs were a great help to me. The rehab staff was fantastic and I miss them now that I am at home trying to continue on.
Health South seemed to really care about their patients and guest. They did an amazing job with my mother the last 2 weeks. We brought mom home on Tuesday this week. We started out at Town Hall Estates in Keene but they let mom run out of oxygen 2 times in 40 hours and then mom was due breathing treatment at 9 pm and we asked them for that and her rescue inhaler and finally not getting either one by 10:30 and nurse rolling her eyes at my wife when she asked for rescue inhaler we called 911 and filed neglect against Town Hall... read more
I was in a horrible motorcycle accident. A torn tendon in the wrist, broken hip and a broken leg(five breaks below the knee). After I left JPS I came to Healthsouth Oakmont location. At first I was very rebellious about doing any of the therapy due to the pain levels I was enduring but they were very insistant. The more they pushed the harder I fought back. I am currently staying here and I absolutely love the staff they are amazing. However the night staff are the ones I have issues with, they never bring my meds on time so I tend to be in more pain at night, whenever I push the call button it takes them 10 minutes sometimes even an hour before they come in, plus they are very short and show almost no compassion. Don't get me wrong though during the day these nurses give me the biggest smile I've had in a long time! All this goes for the therapist too! They make getting better... read more
