My father went here and the experience was awful from the start. The attention to the patients lacked, bedside manner lacked, and knowing your patient lacked as well. They had no clue how to take care of him... no one was reading charts from his previous hospital stay. This included nurses and doctors. I love the way they were very welcoming, professional, answered every question, could meet all of the accommodation's we needed. Yes it was under construction, but he was very honest and for the most part it was not in the way or disturbing.
This is my last night here, I go home tomorrow. I have had nothing but a great experience here. The therapy has been great. Everything was outstanding,from cleanliness,to food,to staff on the floor at my room. Highly recommended Health South to anyone looking for in patient therapy.
My husband has been here 5 days. Nurses are intuitive and responsive to his needs. He's had great nurses, Richard, Stella and Chastity to name only a few. Food has been great. Rehab is very professional. They have gotten in four hours of therapy with him each day. He started getting better today.
ABUSIVE ....my mother was brought in after a double bypass and a stroke. It was posted that she was a fall risk. They left off the bed alarm allowing her to get up alone. Knowing she Could easily become confused. She fell and lay in the floor for 10 mins before anyone came. Same day a staff member putting her in bed with it flat , let her fall straight back, she tossed the heart pillow at my mom while she lay there in pain. stating that's why you should hold this.
