RecommendedI am going on my second week of inpatient rehab at Encompass and would recommend it for those in need of short or long therapy. The staff is and has been excellent, patient and helpful.
On June 9, 2017, I was admitted to Encompass(HealthSouth at the time). I had an accident at home and injured my spinal cord. When I got there I was not able to walk, dress, eat on my own and so much more. My therapist Parul, Brent and of course the Veronica, the counselor changed my life. They worked me hard, but I was there to get better. They cried with me when I was able to get dress for the first time. Each step I took they celebrated with me and for me. The therapists are great - HOWEVER, once you are released you can forget about anyone giving a damn enough to call you back. 8 days after being released with a prescription - I still cannot get anyone to call medicare for the approval needed to get medication YOU prescribed! Shame on you!
I can never forget Gina, Amanda, and Catherine for being more the world. The facility is great as well as the workers there
I spent 2 weeks at HealthSouth after back surgery.The place brought me back to life.I can't say how much they helped me! Great Place with really caring staff.Great place to heal!
I see someone has rated Health South with 3.6 Well I beg the differ because from the janitors to the Administration they set the bar as a team!!! My mom and I have been treated like family given complete royalty in health care. Mom and I have been in many places over the last year in a half and none compare to the love Health South present!!! Yes they rolled out the red carpet and have totally succeeded our expectations!!! I highly recommend this place!!! Way to go Health South we love you guys and thank you so much!!!
I just came home after a 6 day stay for a hip replacement. It was a wonderful experience. I was treated very well by everyone. It was hard work but therapy is work. I'm home on a walker . The therapists were wonderful caring people whom I felt were genuinely interested in help me.i would recommend this facility to anyone who wants a rehab center that cares for it's patients.
