Maybe having grown up in Texas makes me a BBQ snob, but this was hands down the worst BBQ I've ever tasted. I could hardly find the meat in all the sauce, and definitely couldn't taste it. It was mostly just charred BBQ sauce. The old cat on the porch was pretty cute though.
Been 23 years since my girlfriend now wife have been back to the Snake Pit. Tom has done a great job with the place. The beer was cold food was great definitely recommend the Snake Pit. Vin and Kara Jones

We stopped in to get their "to go bbq special" for the weekend. AMAZING! Best bbq, corn, green beans and baked beans we have had. Wonderful service and relaxing atmosphere.
Went here about 7 years ago and it was great, have been driving by ever scence, my family and I decided to stop and give it a try, worst idea ever, the service was terrible the food was not good, we waited 10 minutes after we sat down before someone had asked if we wanted anything to drink, waited 45 minutes for our food that came out one at a time with about 5 minutes in between not giving us the opportunity to all eat together, my empty glass sat on the table the whole time we were there was never asked if I needed a refil... read more

Absolutely amazing food and service ! I have to say it is the best BBQ in north Idaho . I had the pleasure of meeting the owner as well which was something that doesn’t happen when you go to a restaurant. He went to every table . I will definitely be coming to eat very soon!
