Anniversary dinner on our way to Sir Paul McCartney concert. Good thing we had made reservations. Great experience from hostess to waitress to bussing. Food was exceptional, the prime rib french dip sandwich was delicious. Because of the design, like underground catacombs, there is a constant high level din of noise - mostly just conversation received and echoed. Much higher than we like, but we are part of an older crowd.
Fun and different menu. My husband had the pork belly and said it was amazing. I had the 1/2 chicken and it was not bad but not a whole lot of flavor. Ordered a side of squash and it had no flavor and was under cooked (they did remove that from the bill). Nice atmosphere. If you are looking for quite this is not the place. Didn't bother us but it was loud.

IPA's were great... The Pork Belly with apple chutney was amazing... The pomegranate over sorbet dessert phenomenal... Wonderful atmosphere and decor!!!
Great food, service and ambiance . As Bay Area transplant foodies , we love the trifecta . It's a winner ! The parker house rolls are to die for . Thumbs up to the turkey , pork belly and stroganoff . It's my downtown favorite.
