Where did the renovation money go? I didn't notice anything special or different. Same carpet throughout. Still have to go downstairs to use restroom. VIP section (the pit) is horrible. Old chairs? Come on.
For Book of Mormon my seat was Section GT_G , Row M, Seat: 703. The view of the stage was all but fully blocked by the person in front of me. No offset of seat; minimal elevation. For $83 + $16 fees: a total rip-off.
They did a nice job renovating the theater but the seats at the top balcony are so tight! Would have been nice if they had given a warning before purchasing them that they offer zero leg room.
Although I absolutely LOVED The Book of Mormon, I was very disappointed in the theater. We purchased what should have been really good seats, 4th row, Grand Tier middle. The new seats are placed directly behind each other and you cannot see around the person in front of you. This isn't a problem in the first 3 rows, but almost every other row had the same problem. The show was probably great, but I was too uncomfortable to notice. The balcony seats are so small and so close together that even at an average 5'10, my knees were smashed against the seats in front of me. Highly disappointed for a theater that was supposedly "newly renovated" ..

Did not appreciate the rudeness of the staff or the congestion because only one bathroom (on the second floor) was open.
