Saw Ron White. He and is opener, Alex Reymundo were GREAT!!! The sound was bad though. I had a hard time hearing them.
Won't go back to the Landmark to see anything with music - waited 3 years to see Jersey Boys - paid $73/seat for a horribly cramped seat in the balcony where we could not see but the worst was the acostics and sound - all you could hear were the drums - you couldn't hear the spoken lines - had to guess what was going on and while I loved all the songs - the drums drowned out any words and it was an unpleasant experience - this was a xmas present to 3 people with me and we all felt the same - won't be going back for a musical... read more
We thoroughly enjoyed the show. We thought we had great seats until handicapped people in wheelchairs were put in front of us and we couldn't see. We said nothing, and it was an observant usher who moved us into the center orchestra section. I would go again. Loved it.
Charlie Wilson needs to have a real opening act, lose the background dancers, play for more than just one hour ...to me it was a lot of glitter and not enough gold records..... last but not least, every artist always needs to do an encore.
Tried in vain to try and get a hold of a person to ask questions about my mom getting in the theater bc no railing on steps. Only one person would call me back to sell me something. My parents loved the tix we would get them for Christmas to see shows there but nothing. Thoroughly disappointed!!!!!
Saw Cirque show Saturday evening. My wife and I are long term subscribers. I have seen other Cirque shows in Vegas. Two of three primary voice performers were very mediocre. Some of performers were entertaining, but overall I thought the overall integration of performers within "Christmas" theme was too contrived. Compared to other shows I have attended at Landmark, audience reception at end was tepid.
Joe bonomassa was excellent hope he gets to perform there again sometime
While the venue does feature a good selection of productions, the problems with sound continue to plague the Landmark. The recent revamping of the restrooms was most welcome.
