Saw the Lion King last week and was like a kid. It was fabulous! Ushers were very helpful and made sure people put away their cell phones, which I appreciated. The show started a few minutes late in order to get people in their seats, again I was glad, because after intermission several people that were sitting in front of us came back late, and blocked our view for a little bit and I didn't want to miss anything! Next time I go, I'll bring binoculars so I can check out the costumes more closely, they were truly amazing with... read more
I purchased 10 total tickets equalling well over $850... then spent very $100 in merchandise and concessions... was so excited to see this show for the first time...ended up only seeing 2/3 of the actual show due to our seats being aweful. Long story short, I called the box office and made special requests for 3 handicap people in my group and ended up being placed so far right stage that we missed a great deal of the show. I was extremely upset so I reached out to the actual theatre, that got me absolutely no where, just a ... read more
The theater is too small for this production. There wasn't enough space for the animals and the dancers could barely move. Don't get me wrong I loved seeing Lion King and the actors were fabulous.
I went to Altria for the first time to see The Lion King and was very disappointed with the theater itself. Tickets are advertised as starting at $28, but then there's a surprise $8.50 booking fee. The seating was very cramped even though I'm only 5'3'', and either the performers did not have microphones or the sound system wasn't working because you couldn't hear the actors if music was playing. There were no ushers to monitor the audience, so there was a great deal of flash photography happening, which puts the actors at r... read more
Took our two grandsons to see the Lion King. We had never been to the Altria Theater, and our grandsons have never been to a live performance. They enjoyed the show, and so did we. We were not offered booster seats for the boys and one ended up on my lap. I was a little disappointed that I paid almost $500.00 for the 4 tickets, but the actors were wonderful, especially "young Simba". He stole the show.
The seating is horrible. It actually made take good play bad. I will never go back.
Thank you for assisting my service dog Chara and I at tonight's Lion King Performance. You guys went out of your way to assist us. Thanks again for making tonight so magical
Me and my wife went to the Ron White show which was awesome. But the seats are so tightly packed in there it's ridiculous. My knees were crammed into the back of the seat in front of me. So much so I considered leaving before the show even started (very uncomfortable!). And I'm only 5'10". It's all about making money and definitely not the customers experience they are concerned with. I will think twice before going to another show there. Very disappointed with the seating!!
Everything was absolutely amazing!!! Everyone whom I came into contact with that worked there in one way or another was absolutely amazing and kind with a smile on their face :) The shows are WOW just Wow!! So thankful for a wonderful evening at your theater creating memories with my daughter. Thank you Altria!!!
