We had an issue with our grinder pump and Empire was recommended by a neighbor who had similar issues.Empire have a dispatch service who in turn put the customer through to a technician. Saturday night and we had company that was staying the night. When my wife went downstairs to check the laundry, she smelled sulphur and we figured out it was coming from the basement toilet. We called Empire and Victor was at our home in an hour and a half. Right away he knew what the problem was, the toilet was put in on an uneven floor and the wax ring had shifted, letting sewer gas escape into the air. He leveled the area and doubled up the wax ring.
