Everything from the food, to the atmosphere, to the service was phenomenal 🏻🏻
Took my wife here for her birthday for an “elegant” evening. The bar had been set by restaurant experiences in Paris. Second Empire did not disappoint us at all. Food was excellent as were the servers. One note about service, if you expect “in and out” go someplace else. The pace here is deliberately slower and set by the diner. Will definitely return, it is a great place to take your spouse for a special night.
We celebrated our 31st anniversary there on Wed. It was fabulous. The dining room was comfortable and quiet--not too cold--temperature perfect. The wait staff was attentive and the food was delicious. I am so impressed that the chef has maintained this level of food and service for so many years. I remember going for an anniversary dinner during the second year they were in business. The food then was as creative as it is now. Rate the food a 5..but we received poor service..It was myself an a group of ladies out for my friend's Bachelorette Dinner..and we waited over 40 mins before the waiter took our order..to yet wait another 15-20mins after he discussed the menu with us..for him to leave us..then we wait another 15-20mins to receive our check after our dinner..If we had better service..which we all expected I would have rated this place 5 stars hand down!
