Delicious, excellent service & beautiful old home! We loved it!
Great ambiance and very tasty food. I had the filet and it was excellent... if I'm ever back in the RDU area I will be sure to go back.
Perfect atmosphere, perfect service and the food is a taste sensation. Combinations that you don't expect to taste so wonderful. Special place.
Second Empire is consistently excellent. The food is high caliber and high quality, yet accessible and not too modern. We kind of reserve it for special occasions... so as a result, we have determined that there are a lot more special occasions lately.
The dry-aged Filet was the best steak I have had in a long time. Service was superb! The Tiramisu must be illegal in 20 states.
This is my absolute favorite restaurant. Everything I have here is out of this world amazing! I started with the phyllo wrapped pork belly and it was like Christmas in my mouth. My main entree was the filet mignon (it was the special) and it was cooked to perfection. For dessert, I had the crème brûlée and snuck some spoonfuls of my husband's chocolate soufflé, both of which are simply divine. The staff is very knowledgeable and the service was excellent! I highly recommend this place!
I can not even put into words just how great this place is. My husband surprised me for my birthday and I've only experienced food this great one other time in my life. You have to try it. I had duck for the first time and it was delicious. The waiter was a true showman and made the experience memorable for sure. Thank you for a great dinner and birthday!
