I had a very disappointing experience dealing with Earl. His behavior toward my wife was completely unacceptable and extremely disrespectful. There is absolutely no excuse for speaking to a customer the way he did.

My experience is with the old guy driving the Empire Paving truck who hit me on RT 84 3/10/2026 at 8:30 pm.He then called me belittling names. He was in the breakdown lane trying to pass everyone who was stopped in traffic. I was not even moving. He then stayed in the breakdown lane and drove over all of the cones that were letting us know NOT to drive in the breakdown lane.

Empire Paving did an excellent job paving our marina. From start to finish, the work was professional, efficient, and high quality. Earl was extremely punctual, very knowledgeable, and fairly priced, which made the entire process smooth and stress-free. What really stands out is the team — every time I pass their crews on the highway, they’re smiling, waving, and genuinely friendly. It says a lot about the company culture. I’d highly recommend Empire Paving to anyone looking for reliable, top-notch paving work.

Filed a state claim against the CT DOT for damage I received to my vehicle while driving on interstate 84 prior to exit 14. Followed the procedures outlined in the CT DOT claims process, who forwarded my claim to Empire paving and when I contacted them to check the status of the claim they said there was no evidence of their wrong doing. I submitted the claim along with receipts from BMW stating the damage and Brian Fesla the GM stated I needed a police report which is no where in the claims process.
