Filed a state claim against the CT DOT for damage I received to my vehicle while driving on interstate 84 prior to exit 14. Followed the procedures outlined in the CT DOT claims process, who forwarded my claim to Empire paving and when I contacted them to check the status of the claim they said there was no evidence of their wrong doing. I submitted the claim along with receipts from BMW stating the damage and Brian Fesla the GM stated I needed a police report which is no where in the claims process. Good grief. I drive the I95 corridor east of gorton Connecticut north and south everday. This is probably the worst stretch of new pavement I've ever driven on. The old pavement was smoother. I can't believe they are getting away with this garbage, we are paying for. Additionally a lack of cleaning up the roads has trucks throwing and kicking up debris and sand. My window got peppered with sand and it pitted , new 3 months ago
