I feel very grateful to have found Emory Women's Center-St.Joseph; this was my first visit. From the moment I arrived, the receptionist, a young man, was friendly, welcoming and checked me in very quickly. My wait time was less than 5 minutes. The MA-Shatrisse was so very, very kind and graceful, she made me feel welcomed and safe, qualities which truly matter to me. My Gyn, Dr. Sasha Alexander, was simply outstanding, she's kind, respectful, engaging and empathetic. She provided thoughtful treatment plans on how I can bette... read more

I traveled 2.5 hours just to be turned away because the provider doesn't take my insurance. I was supposed to have a procedure.I have serious health problems, and my doctor wanted me to be seen here specifically. Emory Women's Center knew what kind of health insurance I have when they scheduled me. The receptionist was very rude and hateful for no reason. I've never had such an awful experience at a medical appointment. I would not take a dog here.

Never again. I underestimated how much the rain would impact my commute and arrived late. I only needed a consultation, nothing more. Really didn’t want to come in just for a consultation but was told I had to. That is something they should offer telehealth for. I was turned away by Dr. Owusu-Darko. Hopefully this place gets better at giving people grace because you never know how far people are traveling. Never again.

I couldn’t be more pleased and grateful for Dr. Heit and his team. I had surgery w Dr Heit and his team a few days ago and I felt so safe, cared for, and received so much compassion. I made a personal preference for surgery regarding who would be in the room assisting Dr Heit. And, to my delight, Dr Heit listened to me and took my request seriously. It felt so good to know that Dr Heit respected my request and followed through with my request. It was almost overwhelming to know I had a Dr and team that respected me and heard... read more

The receptionist Shanille is extremely unprofessional. I was seen there and really didn’t appreciate how she spoke to me. “You don’t have insurance,” then how do you expect to pay,? with an attitude in a condescending tone. I was able to be seen and the OB was great and friendly, but I think Shanille is not a pleasant addition to the company or brand. She needs to be a bit more friendly and professional with patients and the way she speaks to them.
