This is by far the worst department at Emory University Hospital (clifton rd location). Wait times, lack of communication and poor skill sets has cost us thousands of dollars multiple trips back, Hospital stays and precious family time. Unfortunately they must know people need the care so they don't have to care about what they put patients and families through and it's terrible. If you have ANY other option or Hospital systems near you, skip Emory IR team.

Nine days out and still waiting for my CT results. As someone following up on stage 3 cancer I am incredibly frustrated with the delay in receiving results. Should I have to go into my third week of waiting I will not be returning to Emory

I had an MRI earlier this month and wow, I am sifting through hundreds of lines of results. I see 2 different comments from doctors referring me to other doctors. While trying to figure it out and find out which doctors they referred me to I found that there were no referrals.. I was told by my Urologist I needed a CT scan Urogram so I called and scheduled it but a week later the Dr. sent a message saying I no longer needed the scan. However when I scheduled it I was pressured into paying my deductible up front so I did. It was over 1,300 dollars but when my doctor cancelled it I called to ask for a refund. I was told it needed to be sent to a supervisor I then waited 3 weeks because I still didn’t see a refund. I was then told it could take as long as 3 months!!!!
