Strung along a friend until he was almost dead. Another regional transplant center ran him through the tests and got him a transplant in a matter of days. Do not waste your hope or time. Sad.

I had a great experience with the heart transplant team at Emory over every step of the transplant process. The evaluation process, the actual transplant, and post-transplant care were all very good and I sensed the medical staff legitimately cared about me and my health.
