My husband needs a liver transplant. We have been waiting 4 weeks to get approval from his insurance company. It shouldn't take that long. When you call, they have to send a message. Strung along a friend until he was almost dead. Another regional transplant center ran him through the tests and got him a transplant in a matter of days. Do not waste your hope or time. Sad.
I had a great experience with the heart transplant team at Emory over every step of the transplant process. The evaluation process, the actual transplant, and post-transplant care were all very good and I sensed the medical staff legitimately cared about me and my health.
Emory Transplant Center has a 3.3 star rating with 45 reviews.
Emory Transplant Center is closed now. It will open tomorrow at 9:00 a.m.
