I absolutely can’t stand going to Emory! The service is extremely slow, and most of the primary care seems to be handled by inexperienced students. The care team lacks real patient experience, and every visit I’ve had (unfortunately, not by choice) has been awful—each lasting over eight hours. During my last visit, I ended up leaving without receiving any care because no one came to check on me for an hour and 48 minutes after placing me in a room.
All a pleasure to see Dr Monica Rizzo. I appreciate her taking care of me and her concerns for my health. Thank you Emory for hiring a professional doctor who cares about her patients.
So upset to have driven 2 hours today with my son, who is recovering from brain surgery for the removal of a malignant tumor, for an appointment for a lumbar puncture. We were told to arrive at 12. Here we sit, over 1-1/2 hours later, still waiting to be called. He is nauseated and dizzy and basically miserable. When I asked at the desk why we were told to be here at noon, the woman stated that they request people come early so they won't be inconvenienced with late arrivals. No explaination, no apology. Unacceptable.
You should have the patients to go to a different hospital to be seen less than 7 hours.Me and my mom went in at 12 am and seen a doctor at 7:45am is ridiculous. It's alot of the staff goofing off while everyone is in pain that's not mature. No water or medicine given if you ask for it and in clear pain.If your really not in pain and want to sit around all day and be talked down to as a adult and have no plus one ( no visitor on your side) this is the place for you.The staff are bullies I saw a innocent homeless man with no fe... read more
Mrs Daryl helped me get to my appointment. If it wasn’t for her helping I would have to cancel my appointment. The GPS took me in to the wrong location and I could not get a person on the phone. I called to cancel and she took the time to stay on the phone with me all the way to the correct location. She was extremely sweet and professional. ( make sure to put in NW when typing the location into your GPS. Otherwise you will end up near the detention center with a lot of extremely happy people on the sidewalk.)
