I drove from canton ga for my son's appointment and got lost in was 20 minutes late and they refused me at the desk. This is so ridiculous to be pigeon holed into one doctor due to insurance and be forced to drive an hour here some grace would have been nice. They did not have any.
I contacted the clinic to ask for a basic cost estimate and insurance information for a visit. They provided no help and said they do not assist with insurance verification or estimates. I am very disappointed, as it made it difficult to plan ahead for care.
Tried to make appt with doctor I researched. Got pushed to accept new person.
Extremely frustrating billing experience being seen at Emory Eye Center on 5671 Location. Emory’s website states that Amerigroup Georgia Medicaid is accepted, and my daughter was seen by Dr. Andrew Fischer at Emory Eye on 9/30/2025. I later found out through Avesis (the third-party administrator for Amerigroup Medicaid vision claims) that although the provider may be contracted, I was informed by Avesis there may have been credentialing/network issues related to the specific location since it was reportedly not in network wh... read more
