Getting an appt. at any Emory Clinic is extremely difficult. The scheduling phone system is time consuming and inefficient. The wait for an appt. can be months out. However, once you are lucky enough to be in clinic, the staff is very nice and the doctors are top notch.
I will never return to this Eye center. I went here and they constantly over charging me for the same visit. Wrong coding errors that they used. Now it's been a nightmare to get them to change it to the correct codes. The office manager wouldn't return calls. Totally not the place for me. I wouldn't recommend for my friends are family.
I am 67 and was told since I lost so much vision in my left eye that I probably had an eye stroke, so I made and appointment to see this Dr. Gaasch who immediately calmed me down with his patience & kindness and did a full work-up even the back of my eyeball. He let me know all that was wrong was I had dry eye and told me what to order online. Although I experienced helpful customer service via the phone, the difficulty of scheduling is very off putting. The scheduling with this office has been an ordeal. My initial appointment was made in October for the first week of December, and it was canceled. My second appointment was canceled in January which does not help me with my end of year benefit. The only reason I go here is because I work from Emory. However, if you do not, please take your business elsewhere.
