Ive been here since 1:15pm its 4:51pm as i type this and I am still waiting for the Doc. Ww have been coming here for 16 years on and off and they STILL can not get scheduling done correctly. If you KNOW Doctors take 3 hours why are you scheduling appointments 30 mins apart. I tell you why! MONEY!!! IT has nothing to do with patient care because it you cared about these patients you would have the elderly sitting for 4+ hours for a eye visit. Very professional staff. As long as you stay calm and don't mind walking, parking is challenging but typical of Atlanta.
Even with the first appointment of the afternoon yesterday, my husband was not seen until 5:30. He had waited four hours for a routine appointment. Unfortunately, this has been the standard and the care is no better than we would get from any other ophthalmologist. A four hour wait is unacceptable. What kind of exam is the doctor going to perform at 5:30 on a Friday afternoon?
I saw Dr. Daniel Martin and his fellow Dr. Smith, they were both great. However the front desk staff were not helpful and refused to coordinate my follow-up appointment with my glaucoma appointment. They were supposed to call me with my follow-up but I had to physically go to the clinic to get an appointment. Again, they would not coordinate with my already scheduled glaucoma follow-up. Very poor customer service. The front desk scheduler blamed it on Dr. Martin's nurse.
