I couldn’t be more pleased and grateful for Dr. Heit and his team. I had surgery w Dr Heit and his team a few days ago and I felt so safe, cared for, and received so much compassion. I made a personal preference for surgery regarding who would be in the room assisting Dr Heit. And, to my delight, Dr Heit listened to me and took my request seriously. The receptionist Shanille is extremely unprofessional. I was seen there and really didn’t appreciate how she spoke to me. “You don’t have insurance,” then how do you expect to pay,? with an attitude in a condescending tone. I was able to be seen and the OB was great and friendly, but I think Shanille is not a pleasant addition to the company or brand. She needs to be a bit more friendly and professional with patients and the way she speaks to them.
I've only been to one appointment, but they were very quick to see me and explained everything thoroughly and efficiently. The staff was very nice! I'm happy to continue going to Emory for my prenatal needs.
