I came in at 3pm didn't get seen until 9:30pm But I still prefer this hospital
While some things about this hospital are very good - specifically, the attitudes of hospital staff - they need someone to do a thorough review of the way they communicate with patients and within the hospital. We arrived at 6:30 am yesterday morning to get my mother signed in for knee replacement surgery. I pulled up in front so I could drop her off and "valet parking" came to take the car. This is literally the worst hospital in the world. The emergency room staff is rude and unprofessional. This is my second visit here and it has been ridiculous both times. I walked into the ER around 5:30pm and it's 11:26pm & I still haven't been seen. Not to mention that some people who came in AFTER me have already been discharged. Nobody is communicating with me on the wait time, no one has said a word to me. I'm getting pissed off & at this point I've ran out of patience. Our physician is fabulous!! Dr. Hatcher rocks!! Office staff amazing!! Our only hiccup was when we were required to go to common areas... lab... xray... preregistration. Organization in these areas could use a fresh eye. It was disappointing to see the doctor exactly on time and then wait for 6 hours for the other things. We were ushered from here to there and told to wait... not to leave.
