Emmer and Rye is impressive! The space is beautiful. The staff is knowledgeable and approachable. They guide you through the menu and dim sum style offerings with wit! The cocktails are creative and the wine list has something for every palette. Each plate is thoughtfully prepared and perfectly balanced, pulling flavors from Latin America, Japan, France, Spain and the rest of the world. Add to the wonderful emphasis on house made pickles, fermented vegetables, and grains milled in house. Bravo Emmer and Rye!
My husband and I came here to celebrate our anniversary. The chef that was here tonight, Danny, the gentleman who managed our table, Alex and other staff made us feel like a King and Queen. The customer service was impeccable. The taste of the food could not be described with mere words and the presentation, my God! My husband said this will have to be "our spot!" We had an amazing dinner. The food is unbelievably fresh and innovative. The owners are very involved and interactive. The staff are very knowledgeable about the food and combinations and drinks. It is a great experience if you are in Austin.
If you enjoy good food, this is a must. We enjoyed everything about this place!
