Very thorough and explained things well. Very knowledgeable and made sure I understood the things she was doing including muscle strength and xray results.
I took my dad to see Dr. Exten and she went above and beyond to try and figure out what would be best for him. She was so kind and caring, and we trust her to provide the best care possible.

As a new patient, I was impressed that Dr. Exten’s staff made my appointment the same day. Dr. Exten exhibits a sincerity and warmth that is welcoming and reassuring. Her knowledge and experience shows in her professionalism.
I went in with foot pain and a difficult time moving my toes. and I had previous normal MRI. I could not even stand barefoot in the shower. Had difficulty wearing any type of shoes. She told me to wear wide shoes and buy some carbon insoles. No diagnosis, just sent me on my way. I ended up having 3 neuromas in my foot. All she had to do was an ultra sound on my foot as they don't show up on MRIs. Would not recommend.
I recently had surgery on both of my Achilles tendons, performed by Dr. Exten, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the phenomenal care I received. From start to finish, Dr. Exten was caring, patient, and incredibly professional. Kind, knowledgeable and passionate.
Dr Emily Exten explained my injury and treatment and told me what to expect as I healed. In my follow-up appointment, she was thorough in assessing my range of motion and strength. At all times, she and her staff were friendly and respectful.
Dr. Exten was phenomenal. She does an excellent job explaining the issue and presents the options in a manner that exudes empathy, confidence, and understanding. Dr. Exten and her staff make you feel like you are part of their family and will be cared for as such. Definitley an experience that is rare in the medical field. While I have a long road ahead, I am confident in the plan and look forward to working with Dr. Exten and the crystal clinic in the tears to come! Thank you!
