Bad attitude. – I ordered a birthday cake for one of those special "zero" birthdays and just picked it up. They didn't decorate it at all. Nothing. Just wrote Happy Birthday while I was standing there. I don't care what it tastes like, their attitude about the mistake was terrible. No apologies and other customers came over to tell me the attitude there was obnoxious. I won't be back.
They are the best!!! – This bakery has always been a go to place for their cakes and pastries, but today i have discovered that they make most amazing quiches! Their tomato and basil quiche is out of this world.
Excellent European pastry – Emil's is hands down the best bakery on the Westside. Their cakes are consistently fresh and delicious; it's the only place I go when I need something for a special occasion. They also have very nice every day items like croissants and brioches. Their prices are very low in comparison to those of their competitors and the girls that work there are always very friendly and helpful. Just like in Europe! – I love this place! The pastries are extremely good and the cake I ordered was extraordinary, everyone loved it. I also just love to stop by this cozy little bakery for a cup of my favorite italian coffee (Lavazza) and have their cute mini danish or some fresh cookies. If you want quality cakes and pastries with a real flair of Europe, don't miss out on Emil's!
Best Quality for cakes. No shortening used ! – This is the best quality for cakes. Everything is made from scratch. A lot is imported from Europe. Owners are local Austrian and French. They brought a lot of Europe to L.A. Small Coffee Shop but delicious cappuccino. Birthday cakes wit quality and art design. They sure know what they are doing...

Very Best Fresh Fruit Tarts – Very European Cakes. Napoleon, Tiramisu, Fresh fruit tarts...My husband and I go there every Saturday have a real Capuccino and buy a cake. We like travelling to Europe and so far it's the best European bakery we found in L.A.
