Been a patient of Dr. Emery Jaffe, for 6 years. The past year my right eyesight has become to just about 0 and my left eye is not so good. I told him all I wanted to do is see. he sent me to an optometrist. The Op did his work and ask me what am I'm doing there jokingly. I needed surgery and told me to get a second opinion. I did,,I had a cataract surgery in my right eye, and it's wonderful. I can see, I don't know what jaffe was thinking, but Dr. Ramirez in Boca Raton is the one who did it. Dismissive, outdated knowledge and no compassion. Treats you like you’re some animal to get out of the way
Messed my mother’s eyes up and took her independence from her. He was very unapologetic about the entire situation. I feel he did this to her on purpose. He was very rude, arrogant, and unprofessional. From our experience I feel he is very malicious. It is scary to experience this type of treatment from a health professional. It’s obvious to me that this man feels he is exempt, special, and can do whatever he wants when he wants. Five years ago, I had an excellent experience with staff and doctor and my cataract surgery went beautifully with Dr. Emery Jaffe. This year, I have had many problems. It is almost impossible to get a call back and very difficult to reach certain staff when it is required to do so. I left a message with medical records to send my records up to my new state of residence and no one called or sent the records.
