Dr McDonald misdiagnosed me, was dismisive and patronizing. He told me I did not have an infection and I had neuropathy. Both untrue. Misdiagnosis leads to medical mistreatment.I will never go to him again. I was diagnosed correctly the next day by a specialist and treated appropriately for the correct diagnosis .
Staff was great.
I have to say after a very frustrating day I was so impressed with the team at Emerson Health Urgent Care. From the appointment to the staff onsite to visit itself and follow up. I came in experiencing pain and incredible frustration from the wait and lack of available services at other facilities. Rachael was outstanding as a practitioner, she listened, evaluated, helped me find resources and most of all got me relief! I am extremely disappointed with our recent visit to this urgent care facility. My friend suffered a severe burn from boiling water and urgently needed medical attention. We assumed that an urgent care center would provide prompt and efficient service, but we were gravely mistaken. The initial intake process was painstakingly slow, consumed with endless form filling, which took over an hour before any medical attention was directed to my friend who was in considerable pain.
