Horrible horrible experience.. my friend took her kitten in this place, and despite him being to young to receive his booster shots, they gave them to him anyways.. He died 2 days later.. from Healthy to Dead in 2 days thanks to this office
Great experience! Just left first visit at this clinic after recently deciding to change vets. The staff were all friendly and down to earth. My one year old boxer/pitbull mix literally was whining to return to the exam area to see Dr. Mullins and the staff as we were wrapping up at reception! They loved on him and didn't even seem to mind his embarrassing lack of manners one bit. I do believe he's (we've) made friends for life! :)
HORRIBLE experience!!! I've NEVER felt so verbally assaulted in my entire life! One star is far too generous, in my opinion...and my dog's.
Sorry I am moving away – I have been taking my two older dogs to Emerson for several years. We are moving out of state and I hope I get a new vet half as good as Dr. Mullins. She explains everything in detail. She is always extremely thorough in her exams. She always takes time with my dogs. She is obviously fond of my dogs. With one dog 13 years old, I felt like she looked at every tiny thing. She never lectured me, but always talked WITH me. Excellent customer service and animal care – I love this place. They are very nice and very caring of my pets Flower and Chico. I am greeted warmly upon entering and am given instruction on different products that I purchase.
bad customer service – from the moment i walked into this clinic, i experienced poor customer service. the receptionist was unsmiling and brusque. she sold me worming and flea meds but provided little explanation, and asked me no questions about my pets other than weight. i never talked to a vet. this is negligent. the receptionist should have informed me that the animals must be healthy and ask a few questions to make sure they were before dispensing. it's not that she was busy. there were no other customers in the waiting ... read more
RUDE & Unprofessional Vet Tech! – I called in a 2 times after my kitty was diagnosed with a UTI concerned with the amount of meds given to treat him. I know nothing about treatment or medication amounts. The bottle did not look like it would last 7 days. I called in with concern around day 4, they advised i called back in if there was not going to be enough medicine! When i called back, I was treated inappropriately by the vet tech. LOVE THIS CLINIC!! – I love going to this clinic. I have seen both Dr. Smith and Dr. Mullins when I have brought my cat in. My cat caught it's paw our mower and had to have a toe amputated. The doctor's performed the procedure competently and the cost was reasonable compared to 2 other clinics I called around to. ($200 less). I have gone to this clinic since Dr. Smith bought it years ago and will continue to go here. This clinic may not be everyone's cup of tea. I have been a happy patron of this business for a little over a year. I had been going to a cat-only veterinarian office previously, but decided to change. I had moved to a different area, and the previous vet was very, very expensive. Emerson Pet Clinic is convenient to my home. I was impressed with the vet and vet techs . They were willing to treat my very old, very ornery cat without gassing her first.
