Absolutely zero urgency at this facility. I’ve been sitting here for over 4 hours with no updates and no communication from the staff. It’s 2026—Kaiser should have better systems in place for the Manteca community. This ER is clearly understaffed and over capacity, and the triage process is a joke. If you have an actual emergency, you’re better off going elsewhere."

I went into the emergency room yesterday with pain for a kidney stone! Dr. Michelle Wong provided me with the most amazing and genuine service! She was non bias and went above and beyond to make sure I received quality care! from some who has had previous bad experiences in the hospital, she changed my mind about those who practice medicine. Urologist Dr. Chen was also amazing! Super kind, genuine and efficient in his work! 4 hours still waiting . They tell u to avoid doing this for longer waits. Absolutely horrible

We can't call this an emergency. Be prepared to wait for a 3-4 hours before you are called and spend all day. Will never show up here.

Staff works hard to ensure they’re moving patients around in a timely manner. We did spend about 5 hours there but during the five hours we were being seen and waiting for test results and getting work done. Within the 45 minutes of checking in they checked vitals then we got back to a room shortly after that. We did go during the day it was very busy and packed and it was a Monday on a cold winter day.
