Two times over the last two years we have requsted ERS. Both times ERS staff from the telephone receptionist to the on site responders have been professional, caring, and very helpful relating to our family situation. And ERS response in both instances was within abot ione hour from our initial call. Thank you ERS!
The entire thing needs to be restructured. Unprofessional, ignorant, and uneducated. The fact that a few simple questions unrelated to the mental status of the person they are “assisting” is the deciding factor on what happens in many situations is horrendous. Someone actually competent needs to step up and fix whatever “system” they have in place.
If your looking for professionalism, honesty, caring, and kindness, call the police. If your looking for a waste of time, call ERS.
this place should get closed down,... just so that everyone else understands and knows that the people who are supposedly there to help are most likely mentally ill themselves. Your problem is your problem and they could care less to understand what you go through.
