Caring, calming, competent, compassionate. That sums it up well.

I called ahead to explain my cat's issues to see if it was a true emergency and we all thought it was a UTI. Instead of waiting 12 hours+ to get her into her vet (this was a Sunday night at 6:30), decided I'd take her in as she seemed in pain. Everyone, from the person who answered the phone, to the receptionist, the vet tech, and the doctor, were just as nice and compassionate as could be. Hopefully, I'll never have to go back but it's reassuring that if an emergency came up, my "babies" would be in good hands.

We can't say enough good about Dr. Brewer and EAHEC. My husband brought our dog Sam in after he experienced a seizure. Dr. Brewer explained all the options we had for treatment. Since there wasn't much that could be done at that time, as he most likely had a brain tumor, we brought Sam home that night for observation. Unfortunately, he proceeded to have 4 more seizures that night, and we knew that the end was near, although it was breaking our hearts to put him down. Just how you'd hope an emergency vet service would be - prompt, kind, friendly and thorough.

Brought our 12 year old dachshund here for congestive heart failure, received excellent care from all staff members & when we had to return not long after the first visit Dr. Weisberg kindly suggested that we really needed to see a cardiologist & made arrangements for us to take our Tucker to CVCA Annapolis right away. If it wasn't for Dr. Weisberg as well as Dr. Reidy and, of course, our primary vet, Tucker wouldn't be with us today. To the surprise of CVCA, Tucker has actually improved not just maintained. Thank you!

Absolute great service starting from our initial phone call to the emergency care our buddy Kalani received, to the recovery process. The staff was caring, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about dealing with an older dog in an emergency. Couldn't be happier with our experience here and will continue to go here should any emergency arise, and I make sure I mention them to other pet parents we know.
