This is by far the WORST apartment management company I have ever dealt with. If I could give zero stars, I would. The customer service is absolutely atrocious—rude, dismissive, and downright unprofessional. Every email I’ve received from the office staff has been curt and condescending, as if tenants are an inconvenience to them rather than paying customers. Pretty standard with regards to property management companies. Requested maintenance gets done though sometimes it takes a while, quality and speed of communication largely depend on which property manager you're working with. Some are really responsive and communicative, others not so much. They do have some pretty nice homes in good areas for very reasonable prices.
This management company is the worst I’ve ever encountered. They do not answer their texts, calls or emails. They will leave your maintenance request open for months and months until you hound them about it. They never communicate when maintenance will get done, instead they just show up whenever it’s convenient for them. It sucks renting from them but I can’t imagine leaving my property in their hands as they do nothing to take care of them. They are the WORST.
By and large the worst rental company here in Austin, TX. Management is horrendous and could care less about issues with the complex or their tenants. Oh and it should come as no suprise at all that they never answer their phones and are almost impossible to get in touch with. I wouldn't rent anything from these people, much less a whole apartment. Avoid these incompetent morons at all costs.
Emerald Property Management is a rebrand of Lee Properties a notorious landlord which preys upon students and younger renters anyway they can. The staff is made up by mostly family members, and "Fees" tend to appear out of no where. There were multiple occasions where fees were placed upon renters that were incorrect or for dates not covered in the lease. I recommend you search elsewhere, and look up the reviews for Lee properties as they have changed nothing but their brand.
