My Dad was n skilled nursing. He developed pneumonia and was then sent to hospital with where we discovered he had HORRIBLE gang green of the left toes and heel. I was told by the DON & Admin. That it wasn’t that way on Friday. This was Monday! Well his leg was amputated above the knee. So you tell me how long it had been. He had an appointment with a foot dr to trim his nails that Wed and got skipped. Hum? The heels were from bed ulcers from not being turned as well as the pneumonia. Due to Covid rules I was allowed 1, 30 m... read more

My mother just recently passed away and My husband is now a residence there due to a massive stroke . I did not have to think twice where I wanted my husband to get his help and care from. My mom was treated so good and loved that's the key she was loved and treated with respect and dignity. The staff does not see patients to take care of they see family. Emerald Hills is a family . I saw this first hand many times . My mom would smile so big when a nurse aid would stop in for a visit to check-in. on her when they were not o... read more

Horrible facility! does not take care of the residents as advertised! my aunt stayed there for one week and that was enough for her! the nurses were very rude and acted inconvenienced, they did not bathe her when they said they would, and they withheld her medication and cpap machine from the hospital in ft worth when her daughter decided to transfer her! shame on this facility for just wanting to fill rooms to meet there census! will be reporting to the better business bureau and the state so they can come in and inspect th... read more

They need to close down! Sub standard care. My mother was there for rehab after breaking her hip. she developed bed sores on both heels and her buttock that were allowed to get wet when they showered her. She developed gangrene and MRSA staph infection in them that required 2 stays in the hospital for massive antibiotics. Seven months later they aren't totally healed and she is now bedridden.
