Nurses in the covid wing go unchecked for the most part having an attitude which relays to the elderly sick patients since CoVid and they definitely seem uncaring. The food is cold, not even lukewarm, and they don’t bring them enough liquids. These patients are sick, lonely and very scared with no family allowed to see them. They deserve more respect and empathy than they are receiving.
RecommendedMy mother just recently passed away and My husband is now a residence there due to a massive stroke . I did not have to think twice where I wanted my husband to get his help and care from. My mom was treated so good and loved that's the key she was loved and treated with respect and dignity. The staff does not see patients to take care of they see family. Emerald Hills is a family . RecommendedAs the primary caregiver for a senior neighbor/friend who fell and broke her hip, the challenges arising from the Covid pandemic have been more numerous than I can count. When my neighbor was unable to return to her home, Summer Meadows worked with her insurance to provide her ongoing rehab and did a wonderful job in helping her regain her mobility.
