WELL WORTH THE WAIT! I joined ECMT about a year ago and recieved auditions, but no work. After a while, I figured they had forgotten about me, so I was shocked when I recieved a call from them a few months ago telling me I had an audition. The audition was for Icann to find a new spokes model. Out of 100 people, I was chosen. It was an international video and I made almost $2000. Great business I got started with Emerald City in May of 2011. I just booked my first job which was a national Ford commercial. Also in the commercial was one other female talent from Emerald City. It was on a hot Summer day and we were shooting up at Deception Pass. The other talent and I were the only two in the commercial and our job was to walk down the beach and enjoy the sunset. It paid a little under a thousand dollars and was a great experience.
Seeing stars! My daughter Anna was selected to be in the movie Eden. She had a featured role, she got to work with the stars, and she did such a great job. I'm so proud of her! She's 10 years old and she had a blast. She also had her own trailer for hair and make-up. Great Agency I am a freelance local casting director assistant. I work on all types of productions including TV commercials, corporate videos and print work. Simply the best!!! This agency has made it so easy for me to know what to expect in the modeling and acting industry. Not only were they willing to answer any questions that I had, but they also took the time to show me how to start my resume and my portfolio. Stay away, stay away, stay away! Emerald City Model & Talent is generally recognized across the region as the biggest scam agency around. Professional boards which are used to post legitimate casting calls will not knowingly post a call from Emerald City Model & Talent and will immediately remove postings they find that have been place on the boards under another name on behalf of Emerald City Model & Talent.
Whoop Whoop! : ) I would strongly suggest anyone interested in commercial modeling to go visit Emerald City Model and Talent. They dont believe in expensive classes, but want you to build your resume and gain experience on the job. Its a fantastic way to run a modeling agency because I have already added two jobs to my resume. I'm getting a great start in the industry with ECM&T and would suggest both beginners and experienced models to check it out. Gave me the confidence I love the Emerald City Model and Talent Agency. Ever since I joined I feel like I can go the distance, that my goal is in reach. They set you up with everything you need to go on an audition- composite card (can be very expensive at other places), portfolio pictures (turn out better than some of the "professionals" I've tried), help you make a resume, and last but not least...show you to the world!
