I would avoid Embodied Recovery. There’s a nasty insidiousness at the core of this place with the way it’s being run by Greg and Mike and strong cult-like tendencies. Once you get out of treatment here and start describing the environment at Embodied to an outside therapist, you realize all the red flags and the cult-like environment.
letting go while hanging on ~ such an uncomfortable balance to strike when a parent. Recovery is discovery. Not something we can do for any loved one, only self. Embodied Recovery provided the best environment, opportunity, resources, loving-kindness, openness + some serious truths for my family. ❤️
