I was home for the weekend and went to Embers twice! Great atmosphere and friendly, helpful staff. I highly recommend.

Attended a private event upstairs great atmosphere and soft jazz echo the air. Pizza was awesome

In town for a short Sunday, I stumbled across this place... And being a previous inhabitant of Alexandria, I could not be happier for what Embers has accomplished. Phenomenal food, awesome atmosphere. I will be making the trip from Lafayette to eat here again and again!
During this past week, I was watching TV, and saw someone from Embers on and talking about this restaurant..so on our date night on Friday..we both wanted to go somewhere different ..I mentioned that I saw something about Embers..so we went there. I have to say..we LOVED it! From someone greeting us at the door right when we walked in, the fact that there was a bar area ( that's where we prefer to sit), the atmosphere of the restaurant, the friendly/happy staff, the Band ( The Gary Cathey band)..and the delicious food..I act... read more
Neat building with a nice atmosphere but the food is mediocre at best. I believe the foundation for an exceptional pizza is an exceptional crust. The Embers just doesn't get it.
Great service. Dinner was well presented with fresh flavors. Atmosphere is beautiful. Will return again soon.
