I just wrapped up a wonderful stay at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Central and I am already planning my return! The bathroom door was broken literally couldn't open it and had to call for help... and they couldn't even fix it just told me to keep the door open... the door between the front room and bedroom didnt lock. And the parking omg $22 a day just to park! This hotel felt like an upgrade from a traditional hotel. Walking into the main area, the eyes are drawn up to the mile high ceiling, and the beautiful views. The hotel staff was super accommodating offering water upon arrival, and although we weren’t able to attend, they have a reception in the evenings with drinks and snacks in the restaurant. Hotel is old and it shows. Bathroom needed a major upgrade...tub didn't drain right, toilet squealed when flushed, and door stuck. In room coffee maker needed cleaning. Room was cramped with one bed literally against the windows. Room and halls had a musty smell. Breakfast included made to order omelet station and the usual hot and cold options. If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would. I had a completely unacceptable experience with the night shift on May 8, 2026. I needed a small amount of water to take my medication, but the front desk staff was entirely unhelpful. They stated they do not provide complimentary water and expected me to pay for a bottle just to take my medicine.
