Buyer beware... the floor samples were not even close to what was installed in my family room... Cannot go barefoot on my floors due to splintering. I love the rustic look, which is why I chose this flooring, but my floors hardly match the sample I chose from. They are uneven, some boards over 1/4 inch difference. Elmwood doesn't seem the least bit interested in making this right for me. Total lack of communication. Very big disappointment. This was a very expensive mistake. There is a TOTAL lack of communication. Wood was supposed to be delivered July 21st. That date came and went. No phone call. Then two weeks later it was supposed to be delivered Tuesday or Wednesday at the latest, again no phone call when it didn't show up. That was last week. We are still waiting for our wood. I was told today we will let you know a delivery time...no phone call from anybody. I've been waiting around the house for over four hours...no phone call. We spoke briefly on the phone today. You were referred to me by a mutual facebook friend. I own a very historical gold mine that was actually one of the starters of the California gold rush. It's in Winterhaven California right outside of Yuma Arizona. It's very dangerous and goes down 850 feet virtually an underground city of tunnels etc, I went down 250 feet last year and made some exciting discoveries. We got a custom wood top for our island during our recent kitchen remodel. It really made the perfect centerpiece in our design. It was easy to order and shipped as promised. I couldn't be happier with the finished product. I will recommend Elmwood Reclaimed Timber to anyone.
