Staff are unsupportive and unhelpful in matters of health both mental and physical, front desk staff at medical have poor demeanor and problem solving skills. Was told on the phone my appointment was scheduled for 1:30, walk into the office after being unable to find the entrance, giant blisters on my feet only to find out I was scheduled for 1:10 not 1:30 as I was told. My favorite dentist. They are always kind and helpful. I'm surprised at the negative reviews, because they are really great here.
As a patient here, I highly question the ethics of this facility. I also noticed that they minimized my physical health conditions, while playing up my mental health in an effort to make me sound "mentally unstable" and uncooperative; and I just lost a disability appeal, although I actually do have qualifying health conditions. I had a dental appointment scheduled here as I was told by a Family Health Centers of San Diego clinic that this location was one of the clinics with the earliest dental appointments. When I walked to the location, I was first confused because the entrance appeared to be to the basement, and I thought it was for maintenance. I strongly recommend choosing a facility with mentally healthier staff when it comes to your health. As others have mentioned, the staff here were rude, impatient, and unprofessional. From the moment I interacted with them, it felt like I was an inconvenience—they seemed more interested in going home than helping patients.
