This is an outstanding park we've been using for over 20 years. We run, ride bikes and roller blade on the paved trails in the Summer, hike the grass trails and make occasional use of the swimming hole when we have kids visiting. The single track mountain bike trails are very fun, they did an incredible job on these given the lack of elevation change. They also have disc golf and horse trails. We went to the Elm Creek Park Reserve with our Granddaughter to geocache and we loved this Park. Nice trails and probably the best play area that I have ever been to. Great swings and climbing areas Great nature center. Could use some more geocaches.
Elm Creek was a place my brother volunteered at for 14 years. We had a tree planted and a bench put in place by that tree to honor Doug after his death. I love walking through the woods, riding bike through the woods there, thinking of Doug and getting comfort there. It's a amazing place, so peaceful and beautiful. I say it's a GEM in the suburbs.
