Beautiful park. Only reason I didn't give it 5 starts is, it would have been really nice if there were a few porta-potties scattered along the walking paths. The loop we did I think turned in to around a 6 mile walk. I really could have used a bathroom after an hour on the trail. Don't get me wrong, I do hike on the Superior trail which is very rustic, and I love it. It's just that with all the paved paths in this park, it really feels like it is geared to everyone, small kids included, and porta-potties would be a great add... read more
Great place to be out of the city, in the woods and yet not a long drive. Hiking, biking, guided walks all really good!
