Dr. Ashida and her staff are AMAZING! I was there for my first consultation and Dr. Ashida was incredibly thorough, asking me not only about my current symptoms but also about my family history in order to get a very complete understanding of what is going on in my body. Having been born in Yokohama Japan I appreciated and understood how thorough and professional Dr. Ashida was. I would recommend Dr. Ellyn Ashida to ANYONE having allergies, if you want the best? You must go to her.
I have been waiting an entire year to write a review. To start, Janet is so amazing. She is always willing to help and answer and questions you may have. Dr. Ashida is compassionate, thoughtful, organized, almost to the point of perfection. Both my father and I deal with AERD (aspirin exacerbated respiratory disease) and she has made our road to a healthier life much easier. Dr Ashida, and her office mngr/ receptionist Janet, exemplify the best of medicine with their knowledgeable and personalized care of their patients. You may have to wait for your shot sometimes as the Torrance office is very busy, but it is worth it. Both are very welcoming and open to any questions you may have. When new medications become available, as they have for my asthma, Dr. Ashida discusses it with you to see if it is right for you. I can't say enough good things about them.
