The food and service were both excellent. Best Alfredo ever had. But we sat outside and they have the tiki torches burning, I could barely breathe , And there was soot all over everything, including my husband shirt
So disappointed especially after all the great things I heard. Took forever to get seated and then a long time to get our food. I ordered the catfish which was ok with fried pickles and cheese grits that were good. My daughter had the biscuits and gravy which were different. Will try again just in case it was a fluke.
I have eaten here multiple times before and thoroughly enjoyed it but have never had an experience like tonight. So we decided to wait. After waiting for 25 minutes and realizing there was at least 8 empty tables(that we could see inside) only to be left waiting for a “table”, we decided to ... read more
First time I went was on a weekend night and it was just too crowded but the food was amazing. A year later went on a Wednesday night and it was just perfect. Great food , great service and such a cool outdoor patio .I definitely will start going on weekdays for now on.
I can't get enough of Soul food Sunday's. Love the chicken and waffles. Catfish is awesome. Bloody Mary's are spicy with a perfectly smoked rib placed on top!
Wow, wow, wow,,,,,,, the food, the service..... simply wow. I had the fried catfish, cheese grits, collard greens and a double mimosa. I can't wait to go back one evening and experience the BBQ ribs.
Sunday brunch biscuits & gravy were spicy and delicious!
I love everything about this place! The food is unique and delicious. The service is great with friendly people, and the atmosphere is super fun. We usually sit at the bar, but there are outside and inside tables. The menu on Sundays changes to soul food brunch all day; the fried catfish is amazing! It's so popular that occasionally certain items sell out. Some people might be judgy about that, but to me that indicates fresh food, not a freezer full of pre made stuff. This place is the real deal.
