One of the few honest auto places out there. I got a credit card with National Tire and Battery so I naively took it there when smoke started pouring out of my hood, and they wrote me an estimate for nearly $2,500! Elk River Tire and Auto took a look at the car and quote from NTB and told me that NTB was charging me for a ton of things I didn't need and they were able to fix it for less than $900, what a difference! And I've been driving it for some time since then and it's been running great. Thank you ER Tire and Auto!
My daughter came home for a long weekend and I noticed her rear tire was bad. Elk River Tire and Auto went out of the way to get the special tires for her Volvo in, installed, oil changed, and break light replaced by 1:30 pm. This allowed my daughter to get back to her work two hours away.

Im new to Elk river Tire an Auto in the last year and ive been blown away buy "Kerry" the lead Lugnut an all the mechanics in the shop they are not hard to trust unlike other big box operations in vehicle repair, they are honest and girls up front are just the frosting on the cake at making the whole experience great. The work I had done may have taken longer than expected (1-1/2 days) but the end results seems to be good and was at the price quoted. We have had other work done here before and we will be coming back.
Recently, we were looking for a used car and used ERTA for the pre-purchase inspection. Thank goodness we did because one car had a lot of problems and we narrowly missed buying a lemon. The car we ultimately purchased had a few things to take care of but we feel much better knowing it has been reviewed by the pros at Elk River Tire and Auto.
