This hospital is absolutely amazing! My grand daughter was in critical condition, and North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley were incompetent! We the family made the decision to have her transferred to Children's, it was the best decision we made! Upon my grand daughters arrival, there were numerous doctors and nurses working on her. They new immediately there was something serious. Within 2 hours she was in surgery because she ruptured her appendix and was leaking stool into her body, for I don't know how long. Came in on Sunday night with my 13-yr old and a case of suspected appendicitis. Sure enough, that's what it was. Surgery went great - doctors, nurses, and all staff throughout our stay were kind, helpful, informative and all-around wonderful. Will definitely bring my kids here in the future if needed, even if it isn't the closest.

We have been dealing with this same treatment for nearly two years after moving to Colorado. We have finally had enough of being treated as though we don't have any knowledge as parents. Additionally we have moved a few times in the last couple years and have previously been patients at two other prestigious children's hospitals. My son was brought to the children's hospital the day he was born and 2, years later when he developed Type 1 diabetes. Both time he received excellent care. And we received the support and training needed to care for him. He is 7 now and is healthy and happy
