Apparently a referral for your child to be seen can take up to 8 WEEKS. My doctor sent a referral, I waited a week without hearing anything so I called and was told I could begin the information and scheduling while we wait for the referral to make it thru the hospital to the GI department. After doing that I was transferred to the travel coordinator as we're coming from out of state- left a message on Thursday. Didn't hear anything by Tuesday so I called today and was told the actual referral can take up to 5 weeks and then... read more
My recommendation is that the Hospital is clean, personal is friendly. Staff is very helpful and kind. Overall the Hopstial is a great place for a Childrens to be have services to be taken care of.
This place is amazing! The absolute best care we have ever experienced. The Doctors and Nurses are top notch. Unfortunately our Son became sick expectedly last week and we had to stay at Memorial Hospital Central located in Colorado Springs. They were nowhere near as good as Children's in Aurora or Highlands ranch. It was Disappointing because we were told they fall under Children Hospital Colorado.

I have a referral to take my daughter to Children’s Hospital in Colorado, for some digestion concerns. We live more than 10 hours away so we were directed to make an appointment with their long-distance scheduling department. I cannot get anyone to return my phone calls or messages to get this done. I have called a few times a week, for the last 2 months or more.
